A New Chapter of Hope: Expanding Our Reach to Sierra Leone

At the Maternal Health Foundation, we’ve always believed that where a woman lives should not determine whether she survives childbirth. This belief has guided our work across Uganda and Ethiopia, where we've helped open clinics, train midwives, and support thousands of women through safe pregnancies and deliveries.

But now, we’re getting ready for something even bigger—and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.

🌍 We're Expanding to Sierra Leone

Right now, thousands of women in Sierra Leone are giving birth without access to the essential care they need. Complications that could be preventable are instead becoming fatal. Basic supplies and trained providers are hard to come by. And too many families are left with grief instead of joy.

That’s why we’re expanding our maternal health programs to Sierra Leone.

This new chapter is more than just a location on a map. It’s a promise:
A promise to show up for women who’ve waited long enough.
A promise to listen, to support, and to act with compassion and urgency.

Whether it’s a midwife gaining the skills she needs to safely deliver a baby, or a mother finally receiving surgery that restores her health and dignity—you’re part of every moment that makes it possible.

💛 Over 90% of Donations Go Directly to the Field
